Established in 1997, Tcat has maintained as its central business purpose the delivery of innovative training and assessment in partnership with both the public and private sector.

We remain small, specialised and focused, and work in partnership with Edexcel. Tcat will enter into other partnerships as appropriate.

Tcat is an Edexcel Centre for the IT User NVQ (ITQ) at levels 1-3, for Customer Service at level 2, and for NVQs in Learning and Development including the NVQ assessor (A1) and internal verifier (V1) awards.

Tcat has developed online candidate portfolios using MS SharePoint on its tcatefolio site. This permits simultaneous, online access for the candidate, assessor and verifier to the candidate portfolio. Candidates are issued with usernames and passwords to view and download from their site.
